  1. How long has SCS you been in business? Safety Consulting Services have been aiding and assisting the Motor Trade in Health & Safety for 19 years & in which time have only ever lost one client. Collectively the three directors of the family business have 70 years motor trade experience.

  2. How big or small can my company be? There are no limitations. With clients range from 5 employees up to 500 with multi sites so we have the expertise to help any size company, big or small.
  3. What area do your consultants cover? At present SCS cover from the Isle of Wight as far north as The Midlands and from Cornwall as far east as Kent. Needless to say we have clients further afield but they are on a seperate pricing structure.
  4. How long is the contract? Unlike many other consultants that will insist on a 3 year contract, we understand that every business is different and therefore bespoke our package according to the client and the amount of H&S currently in place.
  5. How often do you visit? These can change in an instant. Our Terms & Conditions state that we will carry out one days work every month on or off site depending on the task we are doing, but for the first quarter it will be ever month. This is because we need to capture important information from both a management and workplace perspective. Visits can also increase depending on your accidents or HSE visits.
  6. How long to get implemented? The 'SCS Promise' is to carry out your first visit & initial H&S Audit plus start writing your Risk Assessments all within two weeks of you being happy with our proposal.
  7. So, how do I get started? This could not be simpler! Click on this link which will take you to our contacts page. You can either e mail, call or if you are in a particular hurry you can even ring a mobile. We look forward to hearing from you.
  8. What is meant by 'HAZARD' & 'RISK' ? A hazard means anything that can cause physical harm (e.g. chemicals, electricity, working at height, machinery, etc).

However the Risk is the chance, high or low, that somebody will be harmed by the Hazard.
